After graduation, Harold worked at many jobs, construction, tree surgeon and worked for a TV store putting up TV antennas. Music was always in the back of his mind. At this time Uncle Sam called, Harold spent the next 21 years in the service of his country. Music was always very near and he played his brand of country music all over the world. Over the years Harold performed and was the opening act for such greats as Dick Curless, Jimmie Martin, Back Owens, Tiny Lynn, Freddie Hart and many other artist too numerous to mention. Harold’s album credits include "Songs I Love To Sing", and Harold Crosby and The Travelers Live In Japan, plus some 25 singles that have reached the record charts all over the world with great sales in many countries, including France and England.
Harold has ran the gamut on a dozen small labels and one big label and was looking for his own sound. He then formed his own label "TRAVELER RECORDS", his fortune changed with chart records not only by himself as an artist but other acts signed to his label were moving up the charts. Harold is a member of many organizations both in music and in the field of "Public Works" and he was made a Kentuckey Colonel in 1995, This was an honor bestowed on him by some of his peers in Nashville music circles. His new album "The Traditional Train" is a trip into yesteryear and it brings out the many sides of Harold Crosby. Harold Crosby - Music
